8th Grade Orchestra
The 8th Grade Orchestra meets every day. It is comprised of students at DMS who have significant string playing experience.

7th Grade Orchestra

The 7th Grade Orchestra meets on rotating A/B days. The orchestra is made up of 7th grade students who have already played in orchestra before.

6th Advanced Orchestra
The 6th grade students in this group have had the opportunity to play a string instrument starting in the 5th grade. This class also meets on rotating A/B days.

6th Grade Orchestra: Level 1
This group of 6th grade students has had little or no string experience. They meet on rotating A/B days. These students will be combined with the rest of the 6th grade orchestra students next year to form the 7th grade orchestra.

5th Grade Strings
These students come to us from their respective elementary schools to get a head start on string education. We are so excited to teach our 5th grade students and are happy to welcome them to the Davis Middle School orchestra family!
